Still-Well Program
Overview : Emotional : Environmental : Intellectual : Physical : Social : Spiritual : Vocational

Wellness is optimal physical and mental well-being, a preventive way of living that reduces the need for remedies. The Still-Well program is designed to encourage health and wellness throughout the student doctor's medical education. KCOM's founder, A.T. Still, M.D., D.O., believed that an active body helped nurture an inquisitive and informed mind. True to his philosophy, the Still-Well Student Wellness Program was established at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1991. Still-Well provides structure for programs which enable each student to reach his/her maximum potential in mind, body, and spirit. This holistic approach to medicine is distinctive of KCOM.
